Heat Pump Technical Service Engineer m/f/d

Your mission

As a Heat Pump Technical Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of GoodWe’s technical support, providing Level 2 service to customers and assisting the local Level 1 hotline teams with escalated issues. You will also support the training of the L1 team, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery. In this role, you will be a key part of the Europe regional team supporting our sales growth and maintaining customer loyalty.
A typical day involves direct collaboration with key distribution and installation partners, facilitating training sessions, and working closely with our headquarters' service and R&D teams.
This role offers the opportunity to deeply engage with technical challenges and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers, service partners, R&D, product managers, sales, etc.). Your contributions will be crucial in positioning GoodWe as a Tier 1 service provider in Europe region.

Your main responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for technical support of heat pump products for overseas markets, including providing professional product consultation and answering overseas customers’ inquiries regarding product performance, technical specifications, and application scenarios.
• Organize and deliver technical training programs for different customer groups, develop tailored training plans, and ensure customers fully understand product operation, installation, and maintenance requirements.
• Conduct on-site commissioning and debugging at customer project sites according to actual project requirements, ensuring stable and reliable operation of heat pump systems. Respond promptly to technical issues raised by overseas customers and provide effective solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, provide accurate technical support from an engineering perspective, support sales expansion, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote long-term cooperation.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, with a strong theoretical background and solid practical knowledge.

• 2–3 years of proven experience in heat pump or air-conditioning–related roles, with in-depth understanding of product architecture, operating principles, and technical specifications, and the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or German is a strong advantage. Ability to communicate effectively with international customers and to prepare clear technical documentation, including product manuals, technical reports, and operating guidelines.
